Cathleen Weber

Cathleen Weber is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 20 years of experience. She specializes in caregiving for Alzheimer’s and related dementias and in helping seniors maintain independence and autonomy.

Cathleen has provided hundreds of family consultations and routinely provides educational presentations on topics of Alzheimer’s and caregiving. She has worked as an Area Agency on Aging case manager, social worker on a hospice team, and as Alzheimer’s educator for the Alzheimer's Resource Service of a major regional hospital. Cathleen facilitated hundreds of support groups for people experiencing Alzheimer’s disease, caregivers and individuals living with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) and their families.

Cathleen is a founding member of the Active Aging Coalition of Bloomington. She has twice received the William & Mary Oliver award for Dementia Care at Bloomington Hospital. Cathleen is proud to have received the peer nominated Social Worker of the Year award from the National Association of Social Workers Indiana Chapter Region 6 in 2009.
